Info on Elliott’s Designs Beds

  • Construction:
Starting with the finest quality raw materials available, each bed is handcrafted from beginning to end.  The iron bent work involves heavy-gauge steel rods and tubes.  The decorative aluminum castings are hand-poured and hand-finished.  Each piece of decorative genuine brass is hand polished to perfection and powder-coated with a clear environmentally friendly thermal setting water base enamel finish.  Each component is hand-assembled and hand-installed.

  • Finish:
The bed is completely rotor-blasted (a mechanical etching and cleaning process to allow powder coating), and oven baked to ensure a long lustrous finish.

  • Frame:
The frame is made with oversized heavy-duty angle steel for added support and strength.  The frame features recessed legs, center supported for queen and king sizes.  The frame requires no tools for assembly.  The frame is included with each complete bed.

  • Bed Hitches:
The hitches are welded on instead of bolted on to the steel tubing.  The hitches provide a flat surface to insure a tough, rigid, and long lasting mounting surface for the attachment of the frame.

  • Styles and Colors:
Many of the styles are available in today’s king and queen sizes along with full, and twin, the selections of custom colors are endless with over 35 hand-painted custom finishes and colors.

  • All Elliott’s Designs, Inc. products are manufactured in the United States.

  • Don’t’ be misled by “look-alike” copies.  Compare our quality and you will see the difference.  Look for the Elliott’s name on each bed.

The Difference between a repro and a replica.

  • We aren’t the only people making period brass and iron beds, but our antique replica beds are a far cry from the so called reproductions on the market.

  • Faithful replicas in every detail.  Each design that we offer is taken from a mint condition original.  The molds for each decorative castings are painstakingly refined to produce every detail of the original.  Then they are hand finished and hand fitted for the perfect look you would expect form a faithful replica.

  • The brass ornamentation is solid brass, not plated.  We give it a high polished and seal it with a special baked on clear coating to let the sparkle show through and prevent tarnish.

  • The iron bent work is heavy gauge steel tubing or solid rod the truly strength and feel of the original.  Our special antique white finish is actually better than the original.  This the most durable baked on powder paint finish we’ve found.

  • Don’t be misled by “look-alike” repros.
Copywriting these designs are impossible some quickly “knock-offs” of our designs are entering the market.  Don’t be misled.  Compare our fine quality and we know you’ll see the difference. Look for our name on each bed.

  • We are proud of everything we make.
Brass and iron replica beds and accessories are our only product.  We offer a choice selection with more styles on the way.  We have thousands of satisfied customers and we stand behind everything we sell.
